I’m here to show you 6 EASY reasons why walking can increase vitality and decrease stress & other mental/physical ailments. I find the most beneficial ways to relieve stress are the small things I incorporate within my day to day. Lets do it together!

1. Spark New Ideas Out Of “Nowhere” & Increase Your Creative Abilities
Create ideas quick! That project you’ve been waiting to start/finish will come into fruition.
Sometimes forming ideas and creative thoughts don’t always come easy ~ especially in the morning for some of us! Moving your mind muscles are as vital as moving your body muscles. Participants in a research study showed a 60% increase of creativity for those who walked daily.
Being a business owner or pursuing personal projects can seem like this never-ending roller coaster ride of creating ideas. It can feel like this intense search for the next best thing, the next best topic, or you just find yourself wanting to be the best at what you do!
I know that can be very intimidating and working daily without stress is an unrealistic standard to live up to. Being more observant and aware of your body is the main source to achieving personal goals and making vast improvements.
A short walk could be the break you need!

You ever get brain fogged out of things you’d like to action ASAP? Take a short walk! Studies and extensive research proves even just 30 minutes of a brisk walk can lower blood pressure, strengthen the immune system & mental focus; and you can absorb an extra dose of Vitamin D!
Conscious breaths and nature itself restores balance and increases concentration but walking itself creates healthier blood flow to the brain. Be more hands on managing cognitive health and limit distractions by walking to create more clarity!
I know after my walks I feel organized and in order, it quiets my impulsive thoughts and anxious tendencies. Every time my walks come to an end I have a new idea or new way of approaching what seems to be an obstacle.

Whether you’re working or just relaxing anxiety or restlessness can creep up on you and just completely take over your mind +body. A lot of times we need to step away from the task at hand and just take a moment, reevaluate, and then take action!
Listen to your favorite song, count steps until it annoys you, or do some walking meditations! (I recommend Vipassana). It’s good to get your legs moving~ LITERALLY~ get some fresh air, create new ideas and solve problems when you meet them!
